The Product
Its surface is woody, with thick black warts and its pulp white to gray, with numerous light -coloured veins.When harvested at the right ripening stage, the black summer truffle offers a faint scent and a delicate texture.

 

Useful Information
Use grated or slicing in wafer thin slivers, cooked or integrated with delicate extra virgin olive oil. It could confer a superb look as garnishing and serving plates. Carefully wash truffles to remove any dirt in running water.
Fresh product to use as soon as possible.

To Use
As condiment for first i.e. pasta courses, stuffings, omelettes, warm “crostini”.

Conservation
Carefully brush truffles from any dirt with a small brush, then wrap them individually in kitchen paper and place them in a glass container with lid (i.e. a glass container), to be stored in the vegetable compartment of your
refrigerator, within 10 or 15 days.
Replace the kitchen paper every two days.
